Maria lives in Newnan, GA. She has family in Peachtree City, Fayetteville, Pine Mountain, Rome, Athens, and the DC area.
Maria has an Associate's in Journalism from Floyd College (now Georgia Highlands College), a Bachelor's in Governmental Administration with a specialty in Legal Studies from Christopher Newport University, and a Master's of Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She was ordained an Elder in the church in '14. She enjoys scrapbooking, photography, photographic art, painting Bible verses, watching movies, spending time at the beach, and reading.
