Nursery
A nursery is provided from 8:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. every Sunday for our youngest children. They are located on the bottom floor of the Parish Hall. Jamie O'Keeffe is our Nursery Director who oversees all of the nurseries and paid employees who work there. In addition to Sunday mornings, nurseries are often offered during special programs and adult choir rehearsals.
KidCheck
Our Children's Ministry here at Newnan First utilizes KidCheck for our children's check-in system. This system allows parents to maintain their child's information in a safe and secure system ensuring a quick and easy check-in/check-out process. Parents will create a free KidCheck account to store their children's information. Once the account is created, parents simply use their 10 digit phone number or scan their keytag to check-in with us. Accounts can be created prior to arrival by visiting https://go.kidcheck.com
Sunday School
All Sunday School classes for 2-year-olds and older are from 9:45 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. For more information about our Sunday School classes, click here.
Music
The music ministry at Newnan First is an active and growing place for your kids to get involved.

Acolytes & Crucifers
Our kids age 4th through 6th grades serve as our acolytes and crucifers during the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. traditional worship services. Throughout the year they may also assist in worship for other special services.
Children's Time & J.A.M. (Jesus And Me)
During the 11:00 a.m. worship services all children are invited to the front of the Sanctuary for a Children's Time. When this time is finished, children age 4 through 2nd grade are invited to attend J.A.M. Children in the Contemporary service will be dismissed during the offering. During J.A.M. children are given another opportunity to learn about themselves, the church, and God in a fun and active way. They meet in room 207/209 where parents can pick them up after worship.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
VBS is the most anticipated week in June for children who are rising Pre-K through rising 6th grade. This past VBS saw record-breaking numbers of both children and volunteers!
Children's Sunday
Once a year the entire 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. traditional worship services are led by the children. They write the prayers, lead the service, usher, greet, and provide a musical sermon.
Confirmation
Confirmation refers to the decision a person makes to respond to God's grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming his or her baptismal vows before the congregation. Most confirmands are youth between the ages of eleven and fourteen (around 6th grade), who have been nurtured in the church since their baptism as an infant or young child (though previous membership is not a requirement).
