JoAn lives in Newnan, Georgia with her husband, David. They have two daughters, Rachel Kinrade and Emily Carnes who is married to Andrew. They also have a cat, Shadow, and a dog, Jack.
JoAn has her Bachelors in Music Education, a Masters in Early Childhood Education, and a Masters in Divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. She is a Minnesota farm girl at heart and loves to walk her dog and go hiking.
